Dante's been acting strange lately. He used to only spend a little bit of time with the books down here, but he suddenly started studying like his life depended on it! I managed to sneak a look at the books he has marked and all of them have something to do with parallel worlds. He got really upset after he killed that dark knight, so maybe he got an idea of finding a world where that didn't happen? Well, if he leaves, he'd better take me with him! I'm not going to hang around here with those two loudmouths forever.

I sensed something strange upstairs today. Dark magic and a human aura! I was tempted to go take a look, but it was after hours and I didn't want to give myself away in case Dante needed help. He's complained that people who show up after hours are always looking for trouble and that humans with dark magic are always dangerous. Dante left with the human, though, but I'm not sure why. Maybe he managed to convince him not to start trouble in the office? He did just have the building remodelled, so I'm sure he wants to keep it intact for as long as possible. I went upstairs to see what I could find out, but everything looked normal. Maybe I'll ask him when he gets home.
Dante spent all night out after leaving with that strange human. I was starting to wonder if he'd gotten into trouble when he finally came back. He still had that human with him, and another demon too! That's not too odd by itself, but the demon had the same aura as that dark knight from four years ago. And now that I've gotten a chance to pay attention to it, it feels like another son of Sparda. Nevan agrees with me. Things are really getting strange.
I heard a loud crash earlier, too. I really didn't want to go upstairs while Dante had an evening guest over after last time, so I waited until he went to bed to investigate. The railing had been torn completely off the wall and there was blood on the stairs. I wonder what happened?

Nevan went upstairs today to find out if we were right about the new demon. Something broke again and she told me Dante's brother has a nasty temper. Personally, I suspect she provoked him. She really doesn't know the meaning of boundaries and I spend most of my time in the form of a sword to avoid her advances. Not that she isn't pretty, but she's a bit too shameless for my tastes. She doesn't understand that a little discretion can be a nice thing. One time, she even grabbed my tail to pull me closer to her! I don't let it poke out from under my robe since then.
But I'm getting off topic. Apparently, one of the new guests is Dante's brother. I wonder if he's a swordsman too? I might have to challenge him if he is. Beowulf has some nasty things to say about him, but he has lots of nasty things to say about Dante, too. I think he just has a chip on his shoulder because Sparda sealed him away all those centuries ago. I could ask him which one of them is stronger, but he's been here longer than I have and I've seen Dante grow for myself. Besides, I prefer to find out firsthand if he's worthy of my respect.
