Capulet City NPCs

I finally found out what the deal is with all those cranes. Apparently there's some story that says that if you fold a thousand of them before the new year, you get to make a wish and Dante's brother is going for it. I'm not sure if it's for real, but it's not like I know all the magic in the world. Hey, maybe I could give it a try and wish for a chance to face the ultimate opponent. Except I don't even know how to fold a crane...

I got to meet Dante's brother, too. His name is Vergil and he's not a bad opponent. He was still worn out from his fight yesterday, though, so neither of us went all out. We're going to finish it later, when he's had time to recover.

He did figure out I was on a date with Goldie last night, and I've come to the conclusion that the entire family is dirty minded. The idea that I'd be thinking about that over dinner is ridiculous! I might have spared some room in my heart for her, but my true passion will always be for fighting. There's no way I'd let my mind wander there so easily. I mean, she is hot, but that sort of thing is so low on my list of priorities, it might have just fallen off the bottom.

I found a bunch of paper cranes scattered around the last time I went upstairs. Actually, I almost stepped on one, but I stopped when I heard it rustling under my foot. I put it back on top of the bar, since it would be a shame if it got ruined by someone who wasn't paying as much attention. I wonder where they came from, though? Maybe one of the brothers made them, or Dante's boytoy. Scratch that, they're too well made to be Dante's.

Dante's brother and the human have been here for a week now. Things seem to have quieted down...or at least, I haven't heard anything break in a while. I haven't tried talking to either of them yet. They're both in and out of the house a lot and I'm still a bit wary of going up there when Dante and the human are both around. From what Nevan says, it sounds like they're involved. I didn't think Dante had it in him for a long-term relationship, but maybe I was wrong. Could he be growing up? Or maybe someone is just managing to hold his attention for longer than normal. Either way, it's not going to be pretty when Lady finds out.

Maybe I'll be able to catch one of them alone soon.

Dante spent all night out after leaving with that strange human. I was starting to wonder if he'd gotten into trouble when he finally came back. He still had that human with him, and another demon too! That's not too odd by itself, but the demon had the same aura as that dark knight from four years ago. And now that I've gotten a chance to pay attention to it, it feels like another son of Sparda. Nevan agrees with me. Things are really getting strange.

I heard a loud crash earlier, too. I really didn't want to go upstairs while Dante had an evening guest over after last time, so I waited until he went to bed to investigate. The railing had been torn completely off the wall and there was blood on the stairs. I wonder what happened?

Dante's been acting strange lately. He used to only spend a little bit of time with the books down here, but he suddenly started studying like his life depended on it! I managed to sneak a look at the books he has marked and all of them have something to do with parallel worlds. He got really upset after he killed that dark knight, so maybe he got an idea of finding a world where that didn't happen? Well, if he leaves, he'd better take me with him! I'm not going to hang around here with those two loudmouths forever.
